Can't tie your own bow tie? So knot sexy

James Bond. Frank Sinatra. Playboy bunnies. There's something sexy about a bow tie. Not sexy? Finding out that tie is a clip-on. (Looking at you, Pee-Wee Herman). Guys, if you're going to wear a bow tie, then you should have the skills to properly loop and knot it. The Star thinks now is a good time to learn, with Father's Day and black-tie Zoobilation around the corner. And if we're being honest, it's not just bow ties that are befuddling. Regular ties can be just as confusing. So what's a guy to do? First, let's test your skills. Join reporter Leslie Bailey and photographer Frank Espich on Monument Circle from noon to 1 p.m. June 5 for a chance to show off your talents on video. They'll supply the ties. Then, stop by Jos. A. Bank, 10 E. Washington St., between 1 and 3 p.m. June 11 for a free lesson on how to expertly tie one on. Call Star reporter Leslie Bailey at (317) 444-6094 and follow her on Twitter: @Lesalina and follow Frank Espich at @FrankEspich.
